Sandbanks Provincial Park

Millennium Trail

Take a wander over to the Millennium Trail, a flat, former rail line that’s perfect for beginner hikers or those looking for an easy stroll. The trail is more than 45 km from start to finish and offers numerous spots to hop on and off, passing fields, vineyards, breweries and picturesque scenes.

 

Snow Means Go!

Throw on a hat and strap on some snowshoes to make the most of the white stuff! With Lake Ontario around every corner in Prince Edward County, extra snow typically sweeps in – especially at Sandbanks Provincial Park. The visitor centre here is open year-round to cater to winter guests. That means The County is the perfect place to embrace the season and get active outside. It harbours numerous opportunities for snowshoeing and Sandbanks even offers access to groomed trails. Winter is long, but it’s easy to enjoy when you’re out playing in the snow in The County!
