Start the day with a hike at the Macaulay Mountain Conservation Area. With over 440 acres of forested land and 20 kilometres of trails, you can enjoy a scenic hike with stunning views of the Bay of Quinte.
Head over to the Sandbanks Provincial Park and explore the world’s largest baymouth barrier dune formation with three sandy beaches, walking trails and protected wetland habitats. Cool off in the shallow waters. If you like fish and seafood, you must stop at Sand & Pearl Oyster Bar.
Or, visit the Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park, where you can go hiking, swimming, or even rent a kayak or canoe to explore the lake. The park also has picnic areas and a restaurant with a stunning view of the lake.

Prince Edward County is recognized as one of the best cycling destinations in all of South Eastern Ontario with its gentle, rolling hills and incredible scenery. And there’s no better way to explore everything ‘The County’ has to offer than by bike. County Bike Rentals is open seven-days a week and offers a fleet of 50 bikes for recreational riders. Prices range depending on the number of bikes needed and the duration of the rental period. Reservations are required in advance and can be made online, by email or over the phone.

Afterwards, visit a few of the local wineries and breweries for tastings and tours. Prince Edward County is known for its excellent wines, so be sure to sample some of the local offerings.
