Thousand Islands National Park

Address: 550 Stone St. S. Gananoque

A must-visit destination in South Eastern Ontario, Thousand Islands National Park provides visitors with a full range of adventures—from exploring the islands by kayak or canoe and trekking through the wilderness trails to backcountry camping, cycling and fishing. Allow yourself to be captivated by this historic National Park and experience one of the region’s ultimate outdoor destinations. 

During the winter, the park offers unparalleled snowshoeing opportunities, while seeing wildlife such as deer, fox and a myriad of bird species is extremely common—make sure you have your camera ready to snap some unbelievable pictures! 

Campsites must be reserved in advance through Parks Canada Reservation Service, while entrance fees vary depending on the purpose of your visit.

The Brock Trail

Address: Brockville
Time to set aside: 30mins–2hrs

The Brock Trail is a paved path that extends along the St. Lawrence River and passes through the town towards the north side of Highway 401. Perfect for hiking, cycling and jogging, the trail leads you to the Brockville Railway Tunnel, Canada’s first railway tunnel, and continues through many of the city’s parks and outdoor attractions. 

Go at your own pace, take in the scenic views and enjoy the benefits of refreshing waterfront air.

Brockville Country Club

Address:1548 King St. W. Brockville

The Brockville Country Club has been a premiere social and recreational facility servicing Brockville since 1914. For golfers and curlers alike, the club welcomes prospective members and guests within South Eastern Ontario and beyond. 

Suitable for golfers of any skill level, the 18-hole course is deceptively challenging despite its smaller size, while players enjoy the wonderful vistas and breathtaking focal points along the way. The club features six ice sheets and welcomes new curling members starting in the Fall—if you hold a golfing membership to the club, you’re eligible for a discounted rate to curl!

The Gananoque Inn & Spa
