This year, there are plenty of fun fall festivities and local farms to visit in South Eastern Ontario. Check out the list below for some fantastic options! 

Lennox & Addington

Spring Meadow Orchards

It’s time for all apple lovers to get ready for an adventure at Spring Meadow Orchards, where you’ll find the mouth-watering Ambrosia, Empire, Red Delicious, Mac, Cortland, and Ida Red apples just waiting to be picked.  You won’t want to miss their fresh pressed cider, candy apples, and apple cider donuts. And if you’re looking for a place to spend quality time with your loved ones, there are free corn maze and picnic areas too!

Wynn Farms- have a maze and apples

Pumpkin patch, orchard, and corn maze are open 7 days a week at Wynn Farms! This year, there will be a magical castle-themed corn maze for you and your kids to explore. You will be solving puzzles and collecting enchanted images as you make your way through the maze. It will be an impressive fairytale experience for little ones who dream of being knights, princesses, and kings. For an even more exciting experience, explore the maze at night on Fridays and Saturdays with a flashlight in hand. When you’re done, gather around the fire and have a cup of warm apple cider. 

Travel down along the waterfront of Lake Ontario, you will find Bergeron Estate Winery & Cider Co. in Bath.  Not only do they own 10 acres of grape vines, but they also have 150 apple trees that produce a refreshingly smooth, bone dry, hard cider. Mmmm delicious!

Prince Edward County

Campbell’s Orchard & Country Market

Looking for a fun family outing? Head to Campbell’s Orchard & Country Market to pick your own apples. With 10 varieties of apples grown right on the farm, you’re sure to find one you love. And while you’re there, check out their tomatoes and pumpkins to add more colours to your autumn trip. 

Don’t forget to visit their kitchen for some delicious sweet treats and apple crisps. And before you go, make sure to grab some of their fresh apple juice and sweet cider for breakfast!

With 10 acres of apple trees, Loch Mór Cider Company,  aims to provide a drier cider with the full flavour for you to enjoy. Try out their fortified cider, Pommeau, it’s award winning.

If you had an amazing time berry picking at Avonmore Berry Farm during summer, you simply cannot miss out on their autumn festivities! They offer free wagon rides to their pumpkin patch, and you can indulge in some delicious pre-pickled strawberries, apples, and baked goodies from their pantry. If you’re bringing your little ones along, they can burn off some energy at the Hay Mow play area while you sit back, relax and enjoy the country views.
