From truffles, frois gras or even gold, (yes some 24k magic.) you’re bound to find a burger at one of these spots! Here are 14 burger stops to get you started on your journey.

1. Truffles Burger Bar

You Gotta Try: Truffle Burger $25. A decadent creation with double beef, truffle mayo, and black truffle shavings for good measure. If you’re feeling spendy, try the Solid Gold Burger $100, beef + foie gras + black truffle shavings + 23 kt gold dust + glass of champagne.

2. Sheeps Head Bistro

You Have to Try: Sheep Head Burger $19.75. Sink your teeth into local ground brisket & chuck, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, bacon and old cheddar on a brioche bun.

3.The Acoustic Grill

You Have to Try: County Garden Burger $13. A black bean burger topped with baby greens, roasted red peppers, grilled zucchini, goat cheese & in-house red pepper mayo on a pastry house bun. *Slow whistle.*

4. Midtown Brewing Company

You Have to Try: MBC Burger. 13km of beef, lettuce, and big mac sauce. $16.

5. 1000 Islands Restaurant & Pizzeria

You Have to Try: Braves Burger $10.50. 6oz of char-grilled ground beef loaded with cheddar, mozzarella & monterey jack cheese. At $10. 50,  The Braves Burger won’t break the bank, but by eating it you’ll exceed your calorie intake for the day, maybe even two days.

6. The Noshery

You Have to Try: At The Noshery, they offer “build your own burger.” We suggest adding an egg and jerk aioli.

7. Burger Revolution

You Have to Try: The Rebel $11.50. 5oz beef (or vegetable) patty with roasted garlic mayo, potato chips, tomato, lettuce, cheddar, jalapeno slices, and avocado spread. That’s a lot of important words right there.

8. Harpers Burger Bar

You Have to Try: The ‘Quebecer’ $16.50. Deep fried ‘Black River’ cheese curds, molasses-cracked pepper bacon, gravy, and roasted garlic-rosemary mayo. Get real wild and double down with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches instead of buns. PSA: wear your stretchy pants.

9.The Kingston Brewing Company Ltd

You Have to Try: KBC House Made Beef Burger $14.50. Add bacon, cheese, fried onions, and hot peppers for not only insta-worthy photos but tastebud perfection! 

10. The Cove County Inn

You Have to Try: Lamb Burger $16.99. Seasoned lamb, gourmet bun, spinach, tzatziki, feta, marinated onions and spicy aioli.

11. The Old English Pub

You Have to Try: You Had Me At Bacon $12.50. Peameal Bacon, Crisp Bacon & Bacon Cheese Sauce. What more needs to be said, really?

12. Laverne’s Eatery

You Have to Try: Diner Burger $14.75. Two patties of house ground chuck, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, and pickles.

13. Spuds Restaurant

You Have to Try: KT Burger $9.50. Everyone agrees you have never had a burger until you’ve had a KT Burger! This local favourite is brushed with special sauce, that one can only assume it’s made with magic and unicorn tears. 

14. The Point Restaurant

You Have to Try: The Point Burger $14. Sauteed mushrooms, onion, cheddar, peppercorn mayo, and crispy hot peppers.
